AI Vedic Astro is a personal research project for testing whether a recorded time of birth is consistent with the events of a person's life, using Vimshottari dasa periods. It is not a commercial service. This page explains exactly what it stores and why.

What is collected

Personal details

A few of the event categories touch on health, bereavement and job loss, and notes are saved exactly as you type them. So put in what you are comfortable having stored, and please ask first before recording health details about someone else.

How it is used

Only to run the app for you: to cast your chart, build your dasa timeline, show which periods your events fall in, and answer questions about your own chart. Nothing is sold, nothing is used to train anything, and nothing is shared with other users. There are no ads and no tracking.

Where it is stored, and who can see it

Your charts and events live in a database run by the cloud providers listed below, and inside the app only your own signed-in account can see them.

I run this myself, so I can see the database, the same as anyone who runs one. It is a personal project rather than an audited service, so please treat it that way.

Third parties

Keeping and deleting your data

Records are kept until you delete them. Deleting a chart also deletes the life events attached to it. To have everything associated with your account removed, including your user record, email the site owner and say so. There is nothing to pay and no reason will be asked for.

If the project is shut down, the database will be deleted rather than transferred.

Your choices

Security

Everything travels over an encrypted connection and the database is not open to the public. That said, this is a personal project and nobody has independently reviewed its security, so please do not put in anything you would be badly hurt to lose control of.

Not professional advice

Nothing this app produces is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. It is a tool for examining whether a birth time is internally consistent with recorded events. Do not make decisions with real consequences on the basis of its output.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the change will be described here.
